Kenny Cavness married Nancy Frost On June 3, 1972. They were  married 34 years.
Together, Kenny & Nancy Cavness had five children

Pictured L-R: Kenny Cavness & Waymond Manis serving with the U.S. Army In Germany. Kenny served from 1967-1971. He met Waymond in Germany (the only soldier in the unit from TN). They became lifelong friends with Waymond serving as "Bestman" in Kenny's wedding. Every summer their families would take turns visiting each other.
Kenny Cavness was known by his family & Friends for his bar-b-que, homemade lemonade, & tobacco loaded jaw. His favorite kind was Beech-nut. He loved to cook & spend a lot of time in the kitchen or outside just "Pitting & Spitting."
Kenny Cavness served as the Circuit General Sessions, & Juvenile Court Clerk in Henderson County from 1982-2007. At the time of his death, Kenny was in his 25th year as clerk. Pictured is Kenny's last "Swearing In" by Judge Roy Morgan in August 2006.
This picture was made Christmas 2006, the last picture Kenny made with his family. Pictured with Kenny to the right is his sister Susie Miller, to the left - his wife Nancy, all children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & great-nieces & nephews on the cavness side. A total of 42 family members!
