Johnny Williams
I can't help put insert a personal note here about my friend, Johnny. I found him to be a person who like to help others. He help to establish Station 2 Fire Dept. We all like to think we helped but in anything, someone has to take the lead. Johnny did that & never slowed down. I seen Johnny help people who were in need & did not have the cash to pay their grocery bill. Most of you know that I was raised in a country grocery store. I know a lot about the situations in which a grocery store owner deals with. My Dad closed the old Threadgill Grocery in 1984. He had a lot of stock with would have spoiled but Johnny ask me what Dad wanted for his stock. To be honest, I think Dad ask to much for the stock. Johnny never ask any questions. He wrote Dad a check. I will always remember these good qualities that Johnny had. But I am most proud that I got to see Johnny follow the Lord's will in his life.
